The Refinery is a community pottery and art studio that provides diverse art experiences and nurtures artists at all skill levels. They offer memberships for artists and classes in clay and other creative mediums.

Walla Walla Creative Co. helped owner, Jess develop and implement her brand, transforming her new prominent Second Street storefront into a high-impact promotion for her business.

The Refinery’s location is one end of a converted 1920s auto showroom fronting unto one of Walla Walla’s busiest streets. The building’s imposing scale and Art Deco details had been softened with layers of paint, but we decided that Jess’s brand could successfully lean into the building’s bolder aspects with a door-defining orange surround and massive 15-foot-tall logo mark.
