Walla Walla Community Hospice
Since 1980, Walla Walla Community Hospice has provided compassionate care to patients in the final stages of life and support for their loved ones and caregivers. They came to Walla Walla Creative Co. to help them freshen their brand and implement it more consistently across all points of contact with their clients.
The Walla Walla Community Hospice logo retains the previous version’s mark but gets a fresh color palette, clean & bold typographic signature, and soft-textured photographic environments. These updates move the brand forward gently without losing its legacy connections.
Made of two stylized figures evoking care and comfort, support and dignity, the legacy logo mark was unmodified other than its coloring and relation to the new typographic signature which is modern and clean but still friendly and comfortable.
The new brand’s tone is light and airy, clean and cool, soft and calming. Generous clear space and low-contrast, critical-focus imagery brings a comfortable, open feel. Careful balance and hierarchical structure of content reinforces organization and order and invites engagement across a broad range of pieces from pins and lanyards to magnets and candles.
The annual “Tree of Life” event is a crucial visibility and fundraising campaign for Walla Walla Community Hospice, as well as a community holiday tradition and opportunity for hospice clients’ families to celebrate and honor loved ones.
Walla Walla Creative Co. develops and deploys a complete custom event branding campaign beginning with posters, banners, yard signs, brochures, social media, and direct mail post cards to build awareness, continuing with the tree ornaments and program materials for the event, then following up with direct mail thank you cards.
